Front Office Application Support Position - Investment Bank (London)
A Global Investment Bank is currently seeking at Front Office Application Support Analyst to join FICC – Rates Technology team in London.
The team is responsible for client-facing support for the applications used by both traders and other business users. This team are the first point of contact for the end users across Rates with a focus on their Emerging Markets business as well.
Key tasks will include monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments, troubleshooting complex system issues, proactively identifying and resolving key issues and helping to drive the development of tools to improve the stability of the systems.
Front Office Application Support experience across Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Credit or Interest Rate Derivatives business areas.
Basic coding/ bug fixing knowledge across Java, Python or .Net
Experience of supporting Unix/ Windows O/S
Some scripting experience either in Shell or Python
Any Market data knowledge – yield curves, funding curves, volatility / correlation surfaces (general understanding / familiarity) would be beneficial
