    Technical Client Support Consultant (hybrid working)

    £45000 - £55000 per annum bonus, benefits

    Job Description

    Supporting prestigious global Investment Banks technically on the use of the company's regulatory reporting software.

    You will be working in a highly client-facing position and utilising technologies such as JIRA, SQL, Oracle. The products are web-based Java solutions but there isn't a requirement to be skilled with Java as this is conducted by the technical development teams.

    The company have been winning lots of business and the client technical support function has stayed at the same size so the reason for this hire is simply organic growth and expansion.

    Responsibilities:

    • For critical issues identify solutions to get clients back to BAU as quickly as possible
    • Perform and document root cause analysis
    • Help to provide solutions/strategies for issue prevention
    • Follow through on solutions offered to ensure client acceptance
    • Maintain strong and positive client interactions
    • Be proactive in picking up and investigating Production Issues.
    • Ability to handle multiple client issues and projects simultaneously, often against tight deadlines
    • Work hands on with the system to configure and test it to ensure that client issues can be resolved
    • Work with Development and QA Engineers to ensure the quality of the code for releases and patches
    • Please note that this is a Support (not a development) role, although a development background would be beneficial, as strong technical skills are require
